Cayuse Native Solutions announces the hiring of two new staff members who started in late January and early February. Both bring creative experience and skills to help Cayuse continue serving its clients with cultural competence and innovative ideas.
"I'm so happy that we've found a couple of 'creative Natives' to continue expanding our services," said CNS Executive Managing Director Debra Croswell.
🌟 Keyaanna “Kiko” Pausch

Keyaanna “Kiko” Pausch (Diné) joins the CNS team as a Digital Solutions Specialist. In this role, Kiko will collaborate with the digital marketing and development teams to build, maintain, and optimize websites, web/mobile applications, and digital marketing materials — all with a focus on solutions that reflect the values and priorities of Tribal Nations and Native‑owned businesses.
Kiko brings a rich blend of digital culture, art, and technology to our team. Born and raised in Phoenix, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Digital Culture (Art) from Arizona State University and has professional experience spanning IT support, software development, and AI integration. She is a certified Front-End Developer through the Turing School of Software and Design and has spent the past two years building software for local companies.

Her commitment to Indigenous representation in tech runs deep. Kiko volunteers with Coding in Color to support underrepresented high school students learning to code and is a fellow with Emergence Circle, where she contributes to conversations on AI ethics in Indigenous communities.
Outside of work, she enjoys pickleball, collecting records, creating lo‑fi music, gaming, and exploring new foods — bringing creativity and curiosity into everything she does.
We’re grateful to have her talent, perspective, and passion on our team as we continue expanding digital solutions for Tribal communities.
🌟 Shauna Long
Also joining Cayuse is Shauna Long (Lakota/Dakota), an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, as the Digital Content Specialist.

In this role, Shauna will lead and enhance digital marketing and communications for an organization that supports Tribal convenience stores — strengthening visibility, connection, and community impact across the industry.
Shauna brings a strong background in Tribal affairs, strategic communications, and digital content development. She began her career as the Internal Affairs Director for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, where she improved internal communication systems and cross‑department coordination. Since then, she has supported multiple nonprofits and Tribal‑serving organizations in building digital strategies that elevate engagement and organizational alignment. Most recently, she served as a Communications Specialist for Indigenized Energy, contributing to digital outreach and storytelling centered on Tribal energy sovereignty.

With a foundation in organizational psychology and experience as a Division I and professional athlete, Shauna approaches her work with discipline, clarity, and a team‑oriented mindset. Her communications style is grounded in cultural understanding and a commitment to supporting Tribal communities through meaningful, accurate, and accessible messaging.
Outside of work, Shauna is a devoted mother who loves traveling and creating memorable experiences with her family. She is also active in youth speaking and mentorship, uplifting young people through messages of confidence, resilience, and cultural identity.
We’re honored to have her join our team and look forward to the expertise, heart, and leadership she brings to Cayuse Native Solutions.
